Autonomy: from ethics to practice. The case of FONGS-action paysanne in Senegal

Kelly POULET’s project aims to study and understand the local humanitarian fabric in Senegal, which is in the midst of transition, based on the case of the Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations (FONGS-action paysanne). The study focuses specifically on the federation’s ethical principles, in particular that of peasant autonomy, and its practices, which combine humanitarian, social and economic action, emergency relief and sustainable development.
