Associated emblems and logos

The emblems of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent were created with a goal of protection: they indicate to wounded soldiers that they can be treated in absolute neutrality and impartiality, regardless of their origins, nationality, religion, political affiliation or other characteristics. The respect of these emblems and of their names is therefore crucial. Any and all non-authorised use of the Red Cross or Red Crescent emblems or names are expressly prohibited and are susceptible to legal sanctions under French law, international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Conventions.

Copyright and authors’ rights

In accordance with to the French Intellectual Property Code and, more generally, international treaties and agreements concerning the protection of authors’ rights, the reproduction, sale, dissemination, modification or publication of all or part of the data, presentation or layout of this website, or of that of the research, documents or other materials protected by copyright or by authors’ rights therein is strictly prohibited for any purpose which is not private or educational without prior express authorization, the request for which must be addressed to the French Red Cross Foundation.
