Economic evaluation of climate risk management systems: the case of drought risk in Niger
Mariama KOUTCHA’s objective is to propose an economic evaluation and a comparison, from the point of view of the populations, of the different existing mechanisms and other potential mechanisms for covering climate risks in Niger, with a view to finding an optimal combination. This will involve identifying all the mechanisms and actors involved in the management of climate risks in Niger, carrying out a microeconomic analysis of the impact of the identified mechanisms and proposing improvements.
