Feedback from French Red Cross staff engaged in the fight against Ebola in Guinea between 2014 and today.
At the suggestion of Mr. Alain Epelboin, CNRS MNHN physician-anthropologist and WHO Ebola consultant since 2003, this study focused on feedback from French Red Cross staff involved during the crisis in Guinea. It began by administering a questionnaire to French Red Cross staff who had taken part in action campaigns against the Ebola epidemic in Guinea between 2014 and the present day (out of around 180 people, 120 responded). Then, on October 15, 2016, an internal capitalization day was organized (“Journée CRF en mission contre Ebola”), designed to enhance the value of on-site experience and draw lessons from the testimonies gathered, thus preparing future strategies (23 participants).
