In order to disseminate the knowledge generated by its research activities as widely as possible, the French Red Cross Foundation is committed to producing quality, open access publications. Whilst focusing on the funding of Francophone researchers, whose work is less visible in the predominantly anglophone international literature, the Foundation also guarantees their translation to English, in order to maximise their reach.

Les Papiers de la Fondation

The Foundation Papers are scientific articles written by researchers supported by the Foundation.

They present the results of their research. In the form of working papers, they are written according to academic standards and intended for both specialized and general audiences, with the aim of fostering broad debate.

The Practices & Humanities serie

The Practices & Humanities series brings together concise documents in the form of a four-page brief.

Its purpose is to make these findings more accessible, using clear language without jargon or overly theoretical terms, while highlighting the practical implications of research results for humanitarian and social actors.

The Devenir humanitaire collection

DH cameroun

This collection, published by the Foundation in partnership with Karthala Editions, brings together a series of books based on the proceedings of the Seminars organized each year by the Foundation. Thanks to Karthala’s distribution network, these books are available in France as well as in many bookstores across Africa.

The Essentiel Scientifique : 10 years of research

The Scientific Essentials: 10 Years of Research at the Heart of Vulnerabilities is a unique publication released to mark the Foundation’s 10 years of research (2013–2023). It brings together both capitalized knowledge and forward-looking perspectives on the Foundation’s key research themes and priority areas. It is also available in English.
