STUDY OF SOCIAL VULNERABILITY TO THE RISK OF WATER POLLUTION WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING SOCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITIES TO COPE WITH THE EPIDEMIC RISK OF FAECAL PERIL DISEASES IN THE KIERSON DISTRICT OF THE KOUNGOU COMMUNE IN MAYOTTE

This research focuses on the social management of water for users in the Kierson district of the Koungou commune, in Mayotte. By drawing a portrait of the populations vulnerable to health risks related to water pollution, the objective is to improve their ability to cope with them. The researcher focuses here on the community’s capacity to deal with the social management of water and examines the possibilities of setting up awareness campaigns targeted at the population.
