Sociocultural practices in the field of SSE of Palestinians from Syria in Germany: towards a new model of integration?
Fanny Christou’s research aims to study the forms of structures and types of socio-cultural solidarity activities developed by Syrian refugees in Germany. This research focuses on how these structures and activities enable these refugees to cope with symptoms of post-traumatic stress, vulnerability and discrimination in the host country. The research also questions how these structures contribute to the emergence of a new form of social and solidarity economy participating in a redefinition of citizenship and integration.
