Psychosocial and cultural aspects of resilience: a study on the memory of disasters and the resilience of populations in Reunion Island
This research aims to better understand the concept of population resilience and its applicability in the context of natural disaster prevention and management. The researcher is interested in exploring the memory of populations in Reunion Island, as well as their representations of natural hazards. By making the link between the memory of disasters and collective resilience, the objective of this research also lies in the development of commemorative acts, in co-construction with the involved populations.
