Food practices and realities of migrants in France: gaining a deeper understanding of representations and the role of food aid

Estelle Fourat’s research aims to understand the food practices and experiences of migrants, in terms of sources of supply, food content, frequency and social context of food intake. This research also looks at the uses of food aid, both nutritional and social, as well as the representations of aid in order to adapt it to the needs of migrant populations
