For a sustainable food security, role and potentiality of micro-enterprises in agro-food supply and transformation in Burkina urban environment
Based on the idea that a food crisis should be considered as the expression of social, market and political malfunctioning, Roberta RUBINO’s research aims to study local initiatives in the field of agro-food supply and transformation in urban Burkinabe environments, in the town of Ouagadougou.
The objective is to understand the roles, capacities and interests of these social actors in transition towards autonomous development and sustainable food security. The chosen method aims to retrace the life pathways of agro-food micro-businesses, as well as the use pathways of their products.
