Research project

Towards participatory malaria prevention strategies in pregnant women

This study aims to evaluate the various interventions against malaria in pregnant women in Mali. Mr. Diarra, PhD in Sociology (University of Bamako, 2018), analyses the causes of low coverage and inequalities in this regard in order to explore, through a participatory component, possible solutions to overcome the obstacles observed. The objective of the research is to identify the springs for a better community engagement for the intake of Sulfadoxine Pyrimethamine (SP) in pregnant women in the rural commune of Safo.
