The Foundation’s annual seminar took place in Beirut on November 16th and 17th. Situated at the heart of a conflicted regional context and weakened by an unstable internal equilibrium, Lebanon is currently confronted with significant humanitarian issues, which have intensified since the outbreak of the Syrian conflict and the massive influx of refugees. In spite of this, the country is also a laboratory for initiatives, where local and international players collaborate in order to redefine humanitarian action.
