As it does every year, at the end of the research fellowships laureates’ work, the Foundation organises its annual scientific day: Les Rencontres de la Fondation Croix-Rouge française pour la recherche humanitaire et sociale. The 2022 edition will take place on Tuesday 4 October 2022 at the Centre de Colloques du Campus Condorcet, in Aubervilliers, in partnership with the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales.
During this day, some researchers supported by the Foundation will present the results of their research, which will then be put into perspective during panel discussions bringing together researchers and practitioners of social action or international solidarity.
This year’s scientific work sheds particular light on social ties, specifically on the challenges of humanitarian action aimed at maintaining social ties or combating the consequences of defective or failing social ties, such as situations of isolation.
- Round table 1: “Humanitarian action and the challenge of maintaining social ties”
- Round Table 2: “Social ties in the face of migratory experiences”
- Round Table 3: “Volunteer involvement, a vector of social cohesion”
The Foundation’s 2022 Research Awards ceremony will be held at the end of the day.
