The Foundation is joining forces with the French Red Cross and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to support the victims of the crisis in Ukraine with a single priority: to meet the humanitarian needs of all those affected by the conflict, inside and outside Ukraine.

Together with the ICRC, it recalls that international humanitarian law is a set of rules which, for humanitarian reasons, seeks to limit the effects of armed conflict. It protects people who are not, or are no longer, taking part in combat and restricts the means and methods of warfare.

The Foundation also expresses its solidarity with the entire scientific community, researchers and students who had to go into exile.
